Dr. Joyce Rached-Sassine graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2015 and received her Bachelors of Health and Science in Biology from the University of Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS). She continued at MCPHS and received her Doctor of Optometry degree and Masters in Public Health in 2018. Dr. Rached-Sassine graduated as a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society.

Following her graduation, she pursued a residency at the Providence VA Medical Center, specializing in Ocular Disease.

Throughout her time of study at MCPHS College of Optometry she exhibited leadership skills and compassion. As the President of SVOSH (Student Volunteer Optometric Services for Humanity) she led a mission trip to Nicaragua giving eye examinations and glasses to those in need.

Dr. Rached's extensive experience includes comprehensive eye exams, ocular disease management, dry eye management, specialty scleral lenses and myopia (near-sightedness) control. Dr. Rached-Sassine has incorporated State-of-the-Art technology into her practice and her day to day routine to provide the utmost advanced eye care to all her patients.

When she's not in the office you can catch Dr. Rached spending time with her husband, Jabar, and two boys, Michael and Nicholas. Let's just say, she is always quite busy, even when not in the office seeing patients.
